The Public Has Yet to Get to a Discussion of Possible Health Risks Inherent in Wearing Google Glass

The SAR for Google Glass according to this recently completed FCC study is 1.42 to 1.50 depending upon the metric employed. Maximum allowable in the US is 1.60. That rating up until now has been applied to cell phones. Google Glass is a whole different kettle of fish. Instead of residing in your pocket or purse Google Glass is proximate to the temple and the eye. Wifi broadcasts at a higher frequency so the signal is stronger than a Cell Phone. Here's hoping these incipient AR Glass companies aren't like the dilettantes at Oculus and Facebook who rushed a flawed, sickness inducing device to the public. Google has yet to comment on the findings of the study. If you are interested in reading the study go to FCC apps. search and use "A4R" in Grantee Search Box.
