VR is years away if ever. Developers do not want to enter the thicket of nausea, headaches so their solution is "You'll get used and to it". Nobody going to pay for a device that they suspect will make them sick.

 

Its not that "VR makes people sick", its that hard won Best Practices to solve the issue are largely ignored by the developer base.
