Still Scratching The Coconut Over eMagin's

pointedly blaming "Defense Customers" and their more exacting standards for loss of revenue and lower yields. Sculley had said previously that new "big" defense contracts were looming and I took that to mean Future TWS and NV for Helicopters. It's not like eMagin hasn't made lots of VGA-XL displays for FLIR, L-3, ATN etc. currently and in the past. That should not have been a big deal for them. The only difference I can infer is the size and scheduling of the order could have been the cause for the SNAFU. I'd understood that the machines operated best with a long run-time for the same display and that VGA was most favored for just that. I believe the NV for Aircraft is SVGA and that's the display they've produced longest and strongest. It's perplexing. They must have been feeling the heat from Raytheon to mention them by inference in the Pre-Announcement. I'm uneasy that these guys are not getting along. What standard can't they meet? I'm giving eMagin the benefit of the doubt here as my supposition imputes eMagin's first stab at fulfilling a large contract with very tight tolerances. Just don't let it happen again.
