It would make a great sense the military customers to insure Emagin has a second production line. They could easily provide some $10 mln loan (peanuts to them) which would serve as an insurance they would get the display without major interruptions which would cost them many times more.
Don't want to say the US is on a war footing but the renewal of the DPA this year as in 1950 involved in a crisis on the Korean Peninsula certainly seems to imply another crisis in the making. Trump's abrupt departure from that meeting was a message to Jun. The first ENVG-Bs are headed there now. New sidearms optimized for cave fighting, F-35 would coordinate the attack from the air, well...
They all but told us on the CC it was a done deal. JL
"vital to defense establishment"
"THEY (military)are arguing that WE provide a key technology". "Meet performance requirements demanded."
"Military NEEDS DPD, Ground and Air."
Ready for LRIP.
"eMagin received the Mantech Award." etc etc
I don't think loans, anything that would put undue pressure on a fragile technology and it's refinement. If eMagin is going to be the microdisplay of record for the US Goverment than as Verge says it's in the DOD job to help crawl, to walk to run. The F-35 is on the planning board until 2075.
21+ Programs of Record. We'll get there.
