Just because the Tech Press almost exclusively talks about Microled doesn't make it true. I don't know why they jump on it with such enthusiasm. They need to fill bandwidth. Years away. They are making samples, we, who experienced AMOLED growing pains, know that wishing they were easy to make doesn't make it so. That said, eMagin has their own Microled patents to wave around. Googleman said that Kopin provided the best optics in the world. Maybe so for a notification device, no overlay no world mapping, not bright enough to wear outdoors. Yes fine for simple symbology in a Pickin' situation or texts, instructions etc.

Maybe he knows, "there are no guarantees"? Don't make me say it. Why have they spent years developing these State-of-the-Art displays collegially for what is the real Fourth Branch of Government and are soon to be integrated into the National/Technology Industrial Base? This turkey was $7,$8,$9 when the Military business was strong. We'll have agree to disagree here. Different worldviews obviously.
Somebody take a paragraph or two and tell me about the alternatives to High Brightness and Direct Patterned AMOLED for Near-Eye-Displays? Make a case somebody, anybody. TIA
