Things get overlooked. From January last. Probably noted but this was before knowledge of IVAS gained currency. This sure looks like the device General Richardson was talking about in his appearance before Senate Armed Services when he referenced glasses like Oakleys being tested at Fort Pickett.

It raises the possibility that ENVG-B could be rolled into these during the 7 year contract life. The Democrats in the Senate cannot reflexively Rubber Stamp the Defense Budget but asking for a review of Army Future Command's strategy for Multi-Domain and in particular the need for a new generation of long range artillery doesn't seem like an attempt to gut or stall the Pentagon's budget requests.
