I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the only microdisplays the DOD has ever qualified for Programs of Record are Kopin and eMagin. Open to correction

Of the 3 largest SBIR MVIS Grants two were from the early 2000's, now defunct, funding halted. The other relatively large Grant, for them, was $$$ to reduce speckle in the Laser Source, trying to cure LBS's version of "Green Glow". After failure to reduce speckle LBS was written out of Stryker/Land Warrior never to be heard of again in that or any other Near-Eye-Display application for the DOD. Maybe it's a Black Budget Double-Super Secret Program MVIS is working on.
