F-35 Helmet Discussion Lockheed SA

I was on the USS Wasp and America supporting the flights. The green glow was a major issue for night flying, especially landing on the ship. Some pilots did not want to continue night flights. This is a huge announcement and improvement for the helmet fix and safety to our pilots. Congrats to the contractor fix.

It is not a "troubled " program, but a program experiencing growing pains because it reached out for very advanced technologies to provide the best for our fighter and attack pilots. This is very necessary program in providing a stealth fighter that can counter today's rapidly improving threats.
This is a very necessary program, I hope such critics of the program, will recognize how important the F-35 is and the progress already made. As a combat fighter pilot vet, on Veteran's Day, I think we need to reflect on what the F-35 means to our war fighting capability.
