They are attempting to resolve the RGB laser calibration (y, p, r) issue via SW in real time which is tremendously difficult to accomplish...

Anytime you ship these units around the world, just a slight bump on the headset could cause a misalignment.

yes which means it was never intended to be used in the field but that is a moot point for now...
