Three Programs underway to improve the Night Vision capability of IVAS. Low-Light CMOS is inadequate and the Army's solution points to Intevac EBAPS System for Digital Night Vision. Intevac was quick to point out that they did not contribute to the delay.

Rest assured that means eMagin Displays are being swapped-out for whatever, LBS, that was used in early iterations. The EBAPS System is used in the new Apache Helmet which always uses eMagin WUXGA.
