In light of Porter's Description of ENVG-B as "Old Technology". The first Enhanced Night Vision Goggle was called the "Spiral" and it introduced Sensor Fusion I2 & Thermal to Night Vision. First one to do so. It was a "Start" not a "Stop". It usd eMagin Displays, the first time I ever saw them in a working device 11 years ago. That's old ain't it. That "Old" Tech bcame younger as the Spiral iterated in the ENVG Family of Enhanced Night Vision Goggles. Three more Generations until they arrived at ENVG-B. All use, used eMagin Displays. Only the III and the B are being Fielded Today. So from a primitive device the "Spiral" which soldiers hated like soldiers hate the Hololens now as constituted the Hololens is getting an Upgrade, something they will like a lot and from Spiral to IVAS they will use the same display. I guess the way you look at the World Porter the Automobile is "Old Technology". It's called Rapid Iteration, not old, evolved.
