Funny, as many people have said " Look out a dirty window and the world looks dirty." So Ralph Osterhout who conceptualized the Name Tag App years ago sees it as a benefit. Elderly person has difficulties with names and faces and turns on the app when he/she needs it, somebody who meets lots of people gets a heads-up (display) to do the polite thing and greet them by name. Senator Smalley sees it and assumes something nefarious, spoken like someone who gained his seat by driving felons to the polls.

P.S. The eMagin Boys have invoked the term "Google Glass" many times in public forums, now, the only way I see them doing that credibly is to announce a Manufacturing License Agreement with said Mastodon, otherwise shut the hell up about it.
