It is interesting that Kopin has patents filed for a Smart Sight presumably along the lines of TrackingPoint's PGF but they've done it and DARPA is developing their's as well. The idea that there are MILLLIONS of rifles out there that would benefit from a PGF is ludicrous. The universe of weapons that would benefit from such a technology is in the tens of thousands. Not surprised if Fan threw that number out. Good Grief. Makes them seem desperate. Let's see how FWS-1 does first eh? And what the hell is a Commercial Weapons Sight? Too many shoppers at the door on Black Friday and you need to thin the herd? But against all odds Kopin is in the game so I guess attention needs to be paid.
