Excellent questions, Brendan! I've covered EMAN elsewhere and like the work you've done on the company. As you imply, full answers to your questions go way beyond an SA comment, so I'll reach out to you privately.
The brief answers are that I don't think this has much impact on eMagin, which seems to be approaching an inflection point. I don't think its so easy to build into micro-displays and then there's always questions about IP. eMagin is looking like the clear, and far better, successor to the just introduced models like Occulus, from what I've seen.
As for wet manufacturing, I think the hold up so far has been with process-related stuff, since water and oxygen are lethal to phOLED materials. I've covered this briefly in my Pro OLED articles on SA, and in more detail elsewhere.
Thanks again for great questions!
