Other major issues include an ejector seat which can cause neck injuries, faulty oxygen-supply system, and a fragile aerial refueling probe which has suffered repeated failure.
(Me: a largely unreported benefit of the new helmet (OLED) is that it's lighter weight makes ejection safer for smaller framed and lighter pilots. Yes, the 4th DD solution was a rush to meet a deadline.)
