The reason Magic Leap is getting a long look at developing AR for the military is the Intelligent Decisions connection, Microsoft connection, Orlando connection and Army Research Lab connection.

Chosen Realities CEO, Scott Johnson, was the designer at Intelligent Decisions who refined the VR Squad Training System (DSTS) that Quantum3D handed off to them. He developed the First-Person Shooter Trainer for Hololens, Orlando is Training and Simulation Ground Zero for the military and ARL is already displaying a prototype of the system at AUSA this year. And then again it may be a dodge. something to confuse the adversaries and maybe not. I would've thought Rockwell would be in this but...? who knows?
