Evan Donoghue, eMagin Corporation, Hopewell Junction, USA Title: Directly patterned, Ultra-high brightness 2K x 2K full-color OLED microdisplays Evan Donoghue is a scientist and manager in the R&D group at eMagin Corporation where he is responsible for the development of directly patterned, high brightness OLED microdisplays. He also oversees development and improvement of advanced thin processes for both R&D and manufacturing. Prior to working at eMagin, he received his PhD in Physics from the University of Florida in 2012 where he studied thin films of carbon nanotubes and graphene as transparent conductive electrodes in a range of organic electronic devices, including OLEDs and a novel vertical organic light emitting transistor. He is currently an officer of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Society for Information Display and will serve as Vice-Chairman beginning in the fall of 2017.
