It seems sort of arbitrary doesn't it Bob and you're right it is arbitrary. There are 138 IVAS Vendors and a handful have either announced their participation in the Program or inadvertently let it be known. A good example of that is L3/Harris where someone on one of their calls just started yakking about...

their expertise in AR and IVAS and let the cat out of the bag. L3 hasn't said word one about IVAS since. Riot Act. eMagin almost had similar episode on a Call but the speaker caught himself just in time. He began talking about "Alphabet Soup" acronyms the military employs, anyway, he caught himself.

The Intevac news is good maybe they are loosening up as the Touchpoints are wrapping up. The EBAPs low light sensor that Intevac references in their PR was invented by former Intevac and eMagin Optical Engineer, Jerry Carollo, who now works at Google. Intevac is a long-time Partner of eMagin and they cooperated on the very first Commercial Digital Night Vision Device called Night Port. Also worked together on the new F-35 and Apache Helmets.
