THE BALLAD OF DAN CUI
Once upon a time there was a man named Dan Cui
who worked for Vuzix until he said "Phooey".
"I hate Grated Waveguide",
"The light is Diffractive".
So off to East Fishkill he went it seemed more attractive.
He became the Spokesman for the Torch and the Spark
Digital Night Vision invented to see in the dark.
They never caught on with Consumers and they were gone in a Poof.
But it doesn't matter they were meant as a Proof.
Night Vision was clumsy, Intensifier Tubes too big.
"What we really need is a much smaller rig"!
"Digital was it! Analog passe!"
So Sionyx appeared to show them the way.
They had resolution and colors and they can fit in your palm and had the ability to turn darkness to dawn
So Dan left for SiOnyx because True Black is the game
and they partnered with SRI, Microsoft and L3 by name
it's the IVAS system and at the end each thread you'll find a company that came back from the dead.
So if you followed Dan Cui throughout his career
you would know where we're going and dispense with the tears.
P.S. I got through this without invoking the Military too much, don't want to upset the Snowflake.
