Murray put a pretty good face on the situation. That Fan is criticizing the company in Public means someday dreaming about an Insider Buy from him probably should wake up. "IVAS" is not Trademarked. It's sleight of hand to try to Piggy-Back on that program which is showing up as just another DC boondoggle. The Army's "New Helmet" is designed to provide mounts for ENVG-B and "Real" IVAS if there is such a thing., Not whatever Kopin and Wilcox cook up.

Sorry to let this junk come up but I have a bad case of Irish Amnesia (never forget a betrayal) I asked a General if a Plus-Up on ENVG-B meant a downgrade for IVAS. He said "there are no plus-ups planned for ENVG-B." The Pentagon is very aware of the obstacles facing IVAS and have known for a long time. Failing this Test IVAS is kaput. Land Warrior 2.0...

Anybody who paid attention could see this coming. And course as fate would have it the High-End NVG Biz goes to Elbit and the Fraudsters in EF. You Kopin guys can call it IVAS-Never. Still causes nausea, eye strain, unreliable in delivering data, could not overcome the tyranny of distance on and on. Army doing what it does best selling BS to dummies in Congress at our expense.

This is so old this Shneider BS. The world has passed them by.

Not the US DoD, a NATO Friendly Country is not in NATO. You think you're selling to Ukraine? LOL Sounding desperate here describing their Thermal Overlay as if they invented it.

›

Wow, Day-Night. And it's an add-on Module so its crap for the Baltic States. And tunnels in Gaza. The IDF doesn't have any Elbit NVGs at all! BS!

›

And it's fair to assume they are not interested in partnering with a company that has a "Blue Radios" reputation clinging to it. My "Black Pill" on eMagin is that the "Sino/Russo" BS in Hong Kong gave the Agencies Just Cause to approve the Hostile Takeover. The timing was exquisite.

›

Part of the "Samsung Sellout" was the Army's desire to not hang a important Program like IVAS on a Company on shaky Financial Ground. Kopin's attempt to wedge their way into IVAS at SOFIC is an act of desperation. See if you can find any discussion of Kopin at SOFIC. And go get a Skyhook while you're at it.

"I just heard IVAS". I just heard desperation.

I still have spasm of anger towards eMagin Management who lied serially to us for years but anybody can thank their Lucky Stars are are not one of Zielier Brothers. BTW it's obvious they are projecting their own bitterness in the Company they have pumped for years without any tangible gains. How much did they have to pay Blue Radios? The company (Apple) certainly was mindful about motion sickness during the R&D phase. Reducing latency and bumping up display resolution go a ways toward reducing its potentiality. But if a method exists to avoid all motion sickness in all users, no one’s found it just yet.

›

Wait until they get to the "Rewiring the brain" problem.

›

No wonder eMagin removed the "WE BEAT NAUSEA" from the Website because they obviously have NOT beat Nausea. In fact I believe that no one will ever beat nausea because the physiological disparities are too complex and the structural problems are built into the device. I always wondered why they never presented results of testing after the initial A-B they did with Oculus where they made their first claim that there was a road to beating Motion Sickness...Now Samsung is claiming they found the Magic Bullet not in a display but in Qualcomm Chip. They should have stuck to Medical Training where it has demonstrated utility or the Military where Soldiers are trained in its use. Consumer will never happen.

If Apple can't find a fix for Vergence Accommodation there is none presently. It's almost incomprehensible that they would ship an unproven device out to the General Public that induces headaches, nausea, motion sickness, all the old complaints about HMDs but here we are.
