the Valve firings are disconcerting. Disconcerting, our middle name. If Valve wasn't/was on the Red Herring? If they didn't seem to benefit the most from developing a headset that would sell a lot of games, widely anticipated by gamers? The 2kX2k display most of us, I assume, have slotted that display into the headset that "was making the rounds in the company."? Valve is judged to be as eNigmatic, maybe more so, and in a wider demographic and a much larger following than our goofy little endeavor. What can you do? Speculate? Wait to see what comes out in the wash. HTC will manufacture? Inside-out tracking is superior to Lighthouse. They don't think the market is going to take off? Take them at their word that their commitment to VR will go forward? I don't know. More grist for the mill. All crazy stuff all the time. Can't wait to hear Kevin Dede intone"Well it's no surprise that VR has slid to the right.? We've been sliding to the right on the consumer stuff for a while. Dang it. It's military until it's not.
